You need contact tips. You know the welder is a Miller®, or the torch says Bernard® on the handle. You go looking for tips and find seven different families.
That's because MIG consumables don't belong to the welder. They belong to the front end of the welding torch: the part where the contact tip, gas diffuser and nozzle screw or lock on. Get the front end right and every part fits. Get it wrong and nothing on the shelf will.
The brand on the machine is not the answer
One welder can run torches with different front ends, and one front end can sit on torches from different makers. A Bernard® torch and a Miller® torch can take the same Centerfire™ parts. Two Miller® torches in the same shop can take completely different ones.
So the question is never "what welder is it?" It's "what's on the end of the torch?"
The fastest way to find out
Look at the parts you're about to replace. The part number on the old contact tip or nozzle, or on the bag it came in, tells you the front end. Type that number into our search and it lands on the part, with the torches it fits named in the title.
No number? Then it comes down to the torch itself. Here are the seven front ends we stock, and what each one fits.
Centerfire™
Fits: Bernard® and Miller® MIG welding torches with Centerfire™ front ends.
Centerfire™ comes in two sizes, and the nozzle and diffuser have to match the size of the front end. The small front end takes the DS-1 diffuser and the smaller NS- and NST- nozzles. The large front end takes the D-1 diffuser and the N- and NT- nozzles. The contact tips fit both.
TOUGH LOCK®
Fits: Tregaskiss® robotic and automatic MIG welding torches, and Bernard® BTB, TGX™ (built after March 1, 2024) and Clean Air™ (built after June 23, 2014) torches.
The contact tip has to match the retaining head, standard-duty or heavy-duty. The nozzles are shared across both heads.
Tregaskiss® conventional
Fits: Tregaskiss® MIG welding torches with the conventional front end, the one that came before TOUGH LOCK®.

Miller® M-Series
Fits: the Miller® M-10, M-15, M-25, M-100 and M-150.
The family shares a lot of parts, but not all of them. Each product title names the exact models it fits, so check yours is listed.
Miller® FasTip™
Fits: Miller® Roughneck® C-Series torches, Spoolmatic® and XR™ spool-feed torches, and the XR™-Edge, XR™-Aluma-Pro™ and XR™-Pistol Pro push-pull torches.
FasTip™ came in partway through some of these torches' production runs, so an older Spoolmatic® or XR™ can still take standard tips. If you're not sure which you have, the part number on your old tip settles it.
Miller® Spoolmatic® and XR™
Fits: every Miller® spool-feed and push-pull torch. This collection puts the FasTip™ and standard front-end parts in one place, so you don't have to know which you've got before you start.

Tweco®
Fits: Tweco® Classic® No. 1, No. 2, No. 3, No. 4 and No. 5 MIG welding torches, and the Mini-MIG.
Tweco® parts are sized to the torch, so a No. 4 tip, diffuser and nozzle belong together. Use the Fits filter on the collection page to narrow it to your torch size.
