Hi! I am Gregg Hinton, Founder of TorchandTip.com. I spent two decades on the other side of this counter — selling Fronius Professional Welding Tools and Hypertherm cutting equipment. I watched list prices climb every single year. I watched shops absorb it, because there wasn't a real alternative — only cheap knockoffs that burned through twice as fast and cost more in downtime than they ever saved at the register.
Somebody has to say it: OEM consumables cost too much, and they've cost more every year for reasons nobody can explain to you.
TorchandTip.com exists to be the third option.
We're not a bargain reseller moving generic copies. We're an authorized distributor for Thermacut® and ABICOR Binzel® — manufacturers who engineer their own consumables, invest in their own R&D, and build in design and performance improvements rather than simply cloning the original. You get parts that fit your machine, backed by a real manufacturer, at a real saving over OEM.
We carry Thermacut® plasma, laser and oxyfuel cutting consumables, and our welding line, powered by ABICOR Binzel®, is live too, with more products added every week.
We stock aftermarket consumables engineered to fit and perform in the same machines — at substantially lower prices than OEM. Not imitations. Not the bargain bin. If we wouldn't run it in our own shop, it isn't on this site.
