Heavy amperage, and a neck you can swap. The ABIMIG® WT 540 LW is ABICOR Binzel®'s water-cooled MIG welding torch, rated 600 A on CO₂ and 550 A on mixed gas at 100% duty cycle. It ships complete with the connector for your machine: Miller®, Lincoln®, ESAB®, Tweco®, Hobart® or Fronius®.

You need a water cooler. A water-cooled torch runs on a recirculating cooler. ABICOR Binzel® recommends a cooler of about 800 W cooling capacity, and a cool-down of at least four minutes after welding. If your machine has no cooler, choose an air-cooled ABIMIG® torch instead.
Why the ABIMIG® WT
- Up to 600 A at 100% duty cycle. Water carries the heat away from the neck and consumables, so the torch keeps welding at amperages an air-cooled torch can't hold.
- Quick-change neck. The "T" neck rotates to the angle the joint needs, or comes off for a longer neck or a 60° bend.
- Nickel-plated front end. Nickel plating from neck to nozzle resists spatter build-up.
- A handle built for the wrist. A slim handle with a ball-joint base gives the cable more range of motion. Order it with a standard or extended trigger.
- Made by ABICOR Binzel®. ABIMIG® is ABICOR Binzel's own torch line, designed and built by Binzel.

Questions
Do I need a water cooler?
Yes. The torch must be connected to a recirculating cooler with coolant flowing before you weld. Running it without coolant will damage the torch.
Will it fit my Fronius®?
Yes. Fronius® MIG systems use the open Euro connector. Choose Fronius / Euro.
Will it fit my ESAB®?
Yes. ESAB® machines use the Tweco® connection. Choose ESAB / Tweco / Hobart.
Why are some combinations unavailable?
ABICOR Binzel® builds the WT 540 in the machine, length and wire combinations shown as available. If the one you need is greyed out, contact us and we will check with Binzel.
What contact tips does it take?
The WT 540 uses M8 thread contact tips.
